The following steps will help you setup your VPN in Windows 10.

1.  Click Start then Settings
   
2. Click Network & Internet
   
3. Click VPN
   
4. Click Add a VPN Connection
   
5. Enter a Name, your VPN address, VPN type (PPTP or L2TP), Username, and Password
   
6. Click Change adapter options
   
7. Click the VPN and then Change settings of this connection
   
8. Click the Security tab
9. Change the following settings:
   1. Type of VPN: Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol with IPsec (L2TP/IPSec)

   2. Allow these Protocols: Radio button selected

   3. Challenge Handshake Authentication Protocol (CHAP): Checked

   4. Microsoft CHAP Version 2 (MS-CHAP v2): Checked

10. Click Advanced Settings

    

11. Enter Preshare key under “Key”
    
12. Click OK
13. Click OK
14. Click Connect
    
15. You have successfully setup your VPN on Windows 10
