New Clients:

1. Update the IPS Tag at your current domain registrar. Update the tag to “ UK2NET ” without the quotes and using  all uppercase  letters. This must be updated before completing the checkout or the transfer will fail. 
   
   
2. Go to our home page http://www.uk2.net/  and in the search bar type in your domain and click "Search"
   
   
   
   
3. The domain will show up as taken and a box next to the domain saying “Transfer.” Click the transfer button and then select Checkout Now. Then, follow the checkout instructions.
   
   
   
   
4. Complete the checkout process. The transfer can take up to 24 hours to complete.

If you experience any errors during the checkout process please make sure the IPS Tag has been changed and is correct. You can use the tool  https://www.whois.com/whois/  to check the registrar IPS Tag.

Existing Clients:

1. Update the IPS Tag at your current domain registrar. Update the tag to “ UK2NET ” without the quotes and using  all uppercase  letters. This must be updated before completing the checkout or the transfer will fail. 
   
   
2.  Login to your account   https://chi.uk2.net/ .
   
   
3. Click on the domains tab off to the left menu.
   
   
   
   
4. Click on the "Register More" tab at the top of the page.
   
   
   
   
5. Type in the domain in the search bar, click Transfer, and then click the Checkout button.
   
   
   
   
6. In the Checkout you will be asked to provide the registrant type. Click the dropdown. Select the registrant type for UK domains.  The registrant details must match the current whois details or the transfer will fail.
   
   
   
7. Complete the checkout process. The transfer can take up to 24 hours to complete.

The most common issues we see are related to an incorrect IPS tag. Make sure the IPS Tag has been changed and is correct. The domain lookup tool at  https://www.whois.com/whois/
